Why Aviation ?

According to the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the Indian domestic aviation market recorded the fastest full year domestic growth rate for the fourth year in a row at 18.6%. According to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), India had 13.9 crore domestic air travellers in 2018- up 18.6% from 11.7 crore in 2017. To cater to the rising air traffic, the Govt. of India has been working to increase the number of airports. As of March 2019, India had 103 operational airports.

The rising demand has pushed the requirement for airplanes as well. As of July 2018 , there were nearly 620 aircrafts being operated by schedule airline operators in India. The number of airplanes is expected to grow to 1100 planes by 2027.

Such robust growth has created increasing job opportunities in the aviation sector.
